One of the few memories I have of Poppy was watching him shuffle a deck of cards at lightning speed - it was like magic in his hands.

The “Ate of Spades” is the fourth of 4 Premium custom color combos for 2026. It features a clean all-white profile with a signature 8 of spades stamped on the fluted Indiana blade. Anyone who knew my grandfather knew he wasn’t just an exceptional Musky fisherman-he was a force at the card table too, especially when it came to shuffling a deck. ♠️

The name “Ate of Spades” pays tribute to both his love of cards and the countless figure 8s he converted boatside up at Eagle Lake. Of all the Foxfire colors, this one just might bring a little extra luck into your boat.

The Foxfire is one of the oldest and most proven multi-species Musky baits ever made. Over its 50+ year history, it’s caught thousands of Musky and Pike including some very first 50+ inchers!

The Foxfire was designed by my grandfather, Milan Gaza, but after he passed away in 2009, these baits slowly disappeared, not because people lost them, but because they caught so many fish they’d eventually get destroyed. For years, guys have asked me to remake them, and I always said no… until now.

To honor my grandfather’s legacy, I’ve finally rebuilt the Foxfires EXACTLY to his original specs. These are limited supply, hand-built the same way Poppy made them.
